Chemical properties of 3003 aluminium sheet:
Corrosion resistance: 3003 aluminium sheet has good corrosion resistance, which is close to that of industrial pure aluminium. It has good corrosion resistance to atmosphere, fresh water, seawater, food, organic acid, gasoline, neutral inorganic saline solution and so on. It also has good corrosion resistance in dilute acid.
In the cold deformation state, 3003 aluminium alloy has a tendency of exfoliation corrosion. The larger the deformation, the more serious the exfoliation. Because the color is not uniform after anodizing, it is not usually treated by anodizing.
