6061-t6 yield strength is the yield limit of the 6061 t6 aluminum material when the yield phenomenon occurs, that is, the stress that resists a small amount of plastic deformation. Yield strength of 6061-0 aluminum is 55 MPa, yield strength of 6061-T4 aluminum is 145 MPa, yield strength of 6061-T6 aluminum is 275 MPa. For metal materials without obvious yield phenomenon, it is stipulated that the stress value that produces 0.2% residual deformation is used as its yield limit, which is called conditional yield limit or yield strength. External forces greater than the yield strength will cause the part to fail permanently and cannot be recovered.

6061-t6 yield strength

Aluminum alloy 6061-T6 is the main alloy of aluminum alloy 6061 aluminum alloy, and it is a high-quality aluminum alloy product produced by heat treatment and pre-stretching process. T6 refers to the heat treatment state. T6 is the state of artificial aging after solution heat treatment, it is suitable for products that are no longer cold worked after solution heat treatment (straightening and leveling can be performed, but the mechanical property limit is not affected). Aluminum sheet 6061 alloy T6 is a high-quality aluminum alloy product produced by heat treatment and pre-stretching process. It has medium strength, good plasticity and excellent corrosion resistance. In particular, it has no tendency to stress corrosion cracking, and has excellent weldability, corrosion resistance and cold workability.

6061-t6 yield strength have high yield ratio and high specific strength, but the plasticity and high temperature strength are relatively low. It should be used as load-bearing structural parts at room temperature and below 120 °C. The alloy is easy to process. Haomei 6061T6 aluminum plate has good corrosion resistance performance and high toughness. This 6061 t6 aluminum alloy is widely used in the aviation and aerospace fields and has become one of the more important structural materials in this field.
