7075 t6 aircraft aluminum is an ultra-high strength deformed aluminum alloy. It has good mechanical and processing properties, good plasticity after solution treatment and good heat treatment strengthening effect. With good toughness, it generally has high strength below 150 ℃ (even higher) as an ideal structural material.
Compared with ordinary aluminum alloys, aircraft aluminum alloys have higher requirements on strength, hardness, toughness, fatigue resistance and plasticity. Due to its light weight of aviation aerospace materials and the significant weight reduction effect, aluminium has replaced steel and occupied the current dominant position of aviation materials.
Aluminium sheet grades for aviation aircraft structures mainly include high-strength 2 series (2024 aluminum plate, 2017 aluminum plate, 2A12 aluminum plate, etc.) and ultra-high strength 7 series (7075 aluminum plate, 7050 aluminum plate, 7A04 aluminum plate, etc.), 5 series (5A06 aluminum plate, 5052 aluminum plate, 5086 aluminum plate, etc.) and 6 series (6061 aluminum plate, 6082 aluminum plate, etc.) and a small amount of other series of aluminum materials. Among these the super hard 7075 t6 aluminum zinc magnesium copper alloy is used to manufacture wing surface skin and beams.
7075 t6 aircraft aluminium alloy sheets show excellent mechanical properties. They have the highest hardness value among all aluminum alloys, and have high yield strength, high load, etc. Owing to its superior performances, 7075 aluminium alloy costs very high. It cannot be welded, and can only be connected by other methods. In addition to aircraft, the al 7075 is also applied to blow mould, ultrasonic wave chamber mould, golfer ball head, contract forming mould, and machinery tools.
