5083 marine aluminium alloy sheet plate for building decoration Materials, specialized in making high strength and high precision aluminum alloy products, including aluminum alloy pipes, aluminum alloy bars and rods, aluminum alloy profiles, with option of 1000 series, 2000 series, 3000 series, 4000 series, 5000 series, 6000 series, 7000 series, 8000 series and 9000 series aluminium alloy applied as aircraft structural parts, aircraft engine parts, pressure vessels, etc.

5083-H321 and H323 is one alloy of different tempers that produces high weld joint efficiencies. It is used for tank work, heavy transport, etc., where its welded properties can be used to advantage

Alloy 5083 aluminum plates have higher strength than 5052 aluminum plate and has exceptional thermal conductivity. In the tempered condition, it retains good formability due to excellent ductility. It is highly suitable for welding and can be hardened by cold work. Because Alloy 5083 exhibits excellent resistance to general corrosion, it is used in marine applications. Since Alloy 5083 is capable of withstanding extremely low temperatures without brittleness or loss of properties, it is especially suited to the cryogenic market. Alloy 5083 has been used in vehicle armor plate due to its high strength factor.

APPLICATIONS:

LNG ship construction

Pressure vessels

Storage tanks

Welded structures (high strength)

Armor plate

Drilling rigs

5083 H116 aluminum is an alloy used for high strength welded applications, with excellent marine environment corrosion resistance. It has a superior “skin finish” developed to prevent skin lamination, thus providing even better resistance to inter-granular corrosion than alloy 5083 H321 aluminum. It has higher Tensile and Yield strengths than Alloy 5086 but less than 5456 aluminum alloy. Aluminium 5083 is a strong magnesium-manganese-chromium-aluminium alloy. It can be hardened by cold work, but is not heat treatable to higher strength. It has good ductility for the strength level, better than most other 5000 series alloys. Aluminium alloy 5083 contains 5.2% magnesium, 0.1% manganese and 0.1% chromium. In the tempered condition, it is strong, and retains good formability due to excellent ductility. It has the low density and excellent thermal conductivity common to all aluminium alloys. Alloy 5083 is best known as a plate for ship building. The alloy is also produced as extruded seamless tube and other extrusions and as forgings.

Why we can supply 5083 aluminum alloy with high quality?

Our aluminum alloy processing equipment, 5083 Marine Aluminium Alloy Sheet Plate for Building Decoration Materials, HMALUM in which there are processing equipment, like horizontal hydraulic press, 100MN, 75MN double-action direct extrusion press, 55MN, 36MN single-action direct extrusion press, 55MN, 28MN double-action indirect extrusion press, 2600USTon, 2100USTon single-action direct extrusion press, and 1880USTon, 1100USTon double-action direct extrusion press.
