In aviation equipment, different parts have precise selection requirements for the selection of aluminum alloy materials. The aluminum alloys used in different parts of the aircraft mainly include 2X24, 7X75, 7X5X, etc. With the continuous improvement of the aluminum alloy material process, the application grades in different parts of the aircraft are also constantly adjusted.
The application of high strength aluminium used in spacecraft materials on Boeing 747 aircraft is mainly 7075T6 aluminum and 2024T3 aluminum materials. The main aluminum alloy grades used on the Boeing 777 are 7055T77, 7150T77 and 2X24T3; the advanced aircraft grade aluminum alloys used on the Airbus A380 are 7055/7449/7085/2024/6013/5076 and other alloys. The fuselage panels are all made of aluminum alloy, and most of the others are made of carbon fiber composite materials for weight reduction. The grades of aluminum alloy materials mainly used in domestic large aircraft ARJ21 are mainly 2X24, 7050, 7175, 7075 and so on. Regardless of whether the proportion of materials used in civil aircraft or military aircraft is still mainly aluminum alloy materials, aluminum alloys still have irreplaceable advantages in terms of material cost, process stability, and comprehensive mechanical properties.
Aluminum alloys are widely used in launch vehicles in the aerospace field. The main grades are 7075, 20X4, 2219, etc. The engine device, main body parts, rotary table, remote control parts, etc. are mainly aluminum alloy 7075, such as the liquid oxygen tank is mainly 2219, 20X4 is mainly used for satellite streamlined housings and temperature control valve components. In addition, the skeleton of the manned aircraft is made of 2024 and 7075 aluminum alloys, because these two aluminum alloys have high strength, light weight and thin thickness. Aluminium used in spacecraft are also frequently used on these objects, such as protective panels, safety devices, propellers, etc.
